Sounds like the cord & the line are not compatable - have you tried them together without the HH?

 

 

I've had beeline on cougar with the wrench Pete, runs sweet as.

The Beeline was like this after roughly 20 metres of descents.

Not sure how the photo looks to you guys but it's actually glazed.

Also, no fast descents because that's impossible after 10"!

How many wraps you tried mate?

 

 

5, 6 & 7 wraps. No braids as standard, one braid, two braids.

Almost exactly the same on all.

 

Pete, I haven't tried the two with out the HH but can only imagine the same.

 

I've checked the HH for excessive wear and looks ok to me.

 

Confused. At this rate I'll have to buy a MEWP.

I had exactly the same experience with beeline on cougar. My favourite on cougar is either hrc or liros dynamide

I've got some 8mm Liros but can't remember which one.

I found HRC to be absolutely dire.

The dynamide is over 9 mm

I've started using 10mm Beeline on Cougar Blue and it just binds up after a 3ft decent.

I'm trying different hitch knot configurations but nothing's working.

Any ideas? Thanks. It's driving me crazy!

 

Volcano for the win , I've tried everything but that new epi cord and its really imo the best hitch cord.

 

if you wash that beeline it will look brand new , it lasts for a long time

I'm trying to find the picture when we had a setup at frjones show couple years back, but I'm sure we had it on cougar at some stage with beeline 4wraps buddy
