is the sj not a good bet for a leftie then ? i really liked the look of it but if it doesn't go well with being left handed i may just go for the hitch climber instead !

 

Or go for a lockjack. I wanted a spiderjack but some mixed reviews about it and infos in this thread made me change my mind. Now I think I'll stick with my LJ. Fooled around with a HC-setup but the faster knots like a VT are too long for my taste and have too much sit-back.

I can't knock it really. I use my left hand on it as well as my right doesn't matter really. The only time I nearly threw it thru chipper was when I came down and there was a small holly tree which I managed to swing into ouch! And a small branch some how knocked the clutch and I fell about 4 foot before It released and grabbed the rope! I was only 5 foot up tho so didn't hurt much! Only my pride as the next door neighbours were watching
