Make money on an acre

I have an acre of land at the back of house sitting doing nothing.

 

Id like to make somemoney from it but looking for ideas, free range chickens, pigs, it has a stream so land based fish farm,

 

Anyone else got any ideas?

A low input longer term idea. Establish a contact in the nursery stock industry. Plant yew laurels and other hedge species, plant in rows. Trim to shape and mow/weed. Within 5yrs you will be selling instant hedge plants. Best to use a contact in trade they have markets and specialized equipment. You could run chickens on the plot in 2nd year when plants are rooted.

im in same boat have nearly 2.5 acres im thinking about boer meat goats, and couple of caravans maybe caravan club site (dont think you need planning for caravan club site 5 caravans max £15 per night each)
