Whats the best tip any of you have had?

I used to work for Dominos Pizza when I was at Uni and it was £40-£50 a nite standard, plus a pizza. Happy days!

Best I had with tree work was £50 and a bottle of malt for a two week job.

I`m sure there has been better and how regularly do you guys get them?

We did a small apple tree in an old couples garden years ago, hour job at most and got full cooked dinner, two mugs of tea and cake, and she made us take the rest of the cake with us in foil because she "always bakes one if tradesmen are comeing"

We had to make excuses and get gone to the next job in the end because we were all stuffed!

Love old folk, there great.

Used to work as a postie and regulary got £200+ in total at Christmas from customers. However worst tip I got one year was from one of my richest customers who owned a boat, three houses and a bevvy of expensive cars - all I got at Christmas was a single "big purple one" sweet complete with gift tag.

Also did a Sunday job on a beautiful winters day and got invited in for sunday lunch, which we accepted obviously. After soup, roast lamb then apple crumble and custard I needed three cups of coffee just to get out of the chair let alone get up the tree again!!!
