I thought my friends would appreciate me sharing this! We can all use a laugh, albeit at my expense today, my girls definitely got the same sarcastic streak as me! but she did get me a compressor and all the paint to camo the landie! all is forgiven. Got me an awesome new coffee mug too, I think this lot have me figured out!

Enjoy! lmao:lol:

I am currently sitting in the Band B in Perth (scotland) I am here for the ATF (Ancient Tree Forum) "Highland Fling" and I am in Love with Scotland, this place is like nowhere on earth, a slice of heaven, why oh why Have i never been in all my 42 years of life in the U.K?

I have been to some of britains finest, oldest, most veteran and venerable woods, Wistmans, Burnham, Epping, Hatfield, Staverton (was hard to top) but this little slice of Caledonian Pine forest hit just about every nerve in my body.

Big up for scotland, you rock!

Here are just a few tasters of a place that is or rather must be, one of gods greatest moments:001_cool:

The Highlands are certainly a special place. I've only been once, when I was in my late teens, and I'd love to go back to see it. I think with increased knowledge I'd appreciate it a lot more than I did then. My main concern then was hiking, sleeping under canvas and somewhat more 'recreational activities' - certainly not arb fung hunting and ancient tree/forest lusting - shame on me!

Obviously been a long time but I will begin putting in some time again, especialy now I am heavily involved in the industry once more. I thought I was going to lead a quiet life but the ethers got bigger ideas!

P. igniarius on Salix-

I. hispidus on Sophoria (new association for me)-

P. fraxinea, also on Sophoria again a new association for me.
