I have made several reasonable "best offers" on this company's small saws to have them counter offer with virtually no reduction over their "buy it now" price and they would not inform me of any additional costs.

Not unless Italy is not in the EU anymore.

as for the saws, they are ok , but very plastic....so dont drop it .

That's identical to the Makita DSC230T (Dolmar). I have one, it's a nice lightweight top handle great for pruning, the chain brake does seem a little flimsy though. Also you may be unimpressed with the power if you're used to a ms200t.

save short term and spend more in the long run. may as well buy from Jonsie and have it next day with all the backup, at least you can speak to them, they always reply to emails/calls and you wont end up with a grey import!!
