Cuddly, how polite. I'll have to remember that description for myself. I had a pair of the progress and they are a nice trou for the more " cuddly" amongst us. Pretty hard wearing too. Certainly not as flimsy as the HiFlex. I've just bought a pair of SiP 6.1's and they're just as comfy but a whole lot warmer than the progress. Can't comment on the stretch airs as I haven't tried them yet.

This is my first post and I hate to agree with anyone on forums but Old Mill is spot on, I'm a cuddly sized fella and they are the most comfortable trousers I've had.

Welcome Mad, good post.

I'm not a cuddly chap I'm pure athlete:laugh1: and the Progress fit me well and are dead comfy. Proof that they fit everyone well and they are better than all other trousers on the market.

There, just like throwing bangers on a fire!:laugh1::laugh1:

I have been a fan of stretch air for the last couple of years until I tried Stihl hiflex type A, front protection. I had been using hiflex type c for years until I got stretch air which last for ever and are pretty bombproof. The hiflex type a may not be as hard wearing as the stretch air but for weight and keeping you cool I have found them excellent, it just depends what u like.
