Ok Steve . Thanks for the help with that . I have done it as you directed . Logged out , waited a few mins and logged back in again ( which seemed to take even longer ) The " we have placed cookies banner which is ticked " ok " seems to keep coming up when I click " un read posts " then again when I click messages . These also seem to take an age to load . The whole site is much , much slower since you have done your work on it . Sorry mate , maybe its me being thick but its like swimming through treacle at the moment .

So you’re saying the Cooke banner is coming up repeatedly even when you’re logged in?

Yes . It comes up twice after the first initial time . I have tried clicking the " yes " tab and not clicking it ( coz it is defaulted to yes ) but its the same

Also when was the last time you updated Firefox please

Last night . It said turn off , or update and turn off . I choose the latter every time .

Please try another browser so I can at least rule that out

Ok . On  Edge now . Painfully slow . The cookies banner now comes up late . After I have logged on and after I have clicked messages .
