With regards to dates also; I'm gona let it dry out a bit so that it is a bit more predictable for weather so we get a nice dry crisp day should be a week or so and I'll post a date, it's just I don't want a soggy wet weekend when people that are a fair drive away are already organised to come, and it's typical torrential British weather.

After all we get paid to climb in that weather lol not get up early on a sat morning for self inflicted torture...

Cheers for clearing that up Tom:thumbup1: . Hope to make it & have some laughs whilst respecting the delicate eco system.

One thing I have thought of is this ash die back & maybe a good idea to implement some bio control measures prior to & after the event to minimize contamination from our transport, clothing & climbing equipment.

Yeah I do agree Im not sure how ruthless it's contamination to beech trees is. I have a work kit and personal kit so clean boots and trousers for me, hell I may even decontaminate myself for once! Loool

What's the minimum notice then that we need a week two weeks etc?

Yer we'll have a laugh don't worry about that!

At least two weeks notice for me.

Beech is no prob's as far as I'm aware but as it can be spread by the wind, ash in the area may be at risk if their are any in the forest. I don't know enough about it to comment on how long it lasts in transit from one place to another ect.

Yea I may decontaminate my self too but sure the trees won't be to bothered by anything they may catch from me:vroam:
