im considering one next...not to sure why as i had like im sure every one else did a badly disapointing debut when they released there first climbing saw...it lasted 4 months before being chucked from a great height any way ive looked at the new 338 and ive been told the faults have been ironed out,its more powerfull, different carb and filter system the spark plug cover stays on and the bars stronger also the carb coller that always split has been redone

I dunno, I still have an excellent original 335. with a bit of work on the exhaust, they go well, and I really like the shape.

I believe the new 338 is 42cc's aswell, so should have mucho power.

Hey rich, how about a power porting thread on 200's? The one at AS was superb.

yep the 338 more ccs than the 200t i think husky for a change in saw manafacturing are actually listing to what people want they have made mistakes and seem to want to change.... at only 300 who can complain?

My old boss refused to buy a stihl ms200.

 

I bought one, after 5 years he's bought 3 huskies,

one 335, the original crotch shoker,

then two 338's, new california carb is a joke.

 

We're trying to tell you, buy the stihl.

Little more expensive but better in the shotgun test.
