Chase who/what with the steam cleaner ??- Wife ? white goods ? helmet ?

 

All of the above ?? or is it the wife grabs your helmet for you to chase her round the yard with the steam cleaner ?:blushing::lol:

The smell factor reminds me of a guy I worked with who had an old husky helmet with the ear muffs falling apart allowing all his sweat to soak up into the foam material every break time he would milk his ear muffs and the sweat would just pour out, it made you feel slitly sick.

just checked the instructions for the vertex and it said a maximum of ten years from manufacturing date, but maybe iam guessing that arb ones should be replaced a bit more often??

Cheers Carl looked inside mine today issue date was 2003 so had it longer than I thought, think I'll use it for ground work and buy a new lid for climbing, peace of mind and all that.

surely the risk of head injuries is the same if not greater when your on the ground ?
