Who uses what and why? Looking to buy a new saw and I'd like to hear your thoughts please. Also stick with the standard 7 pin drive of stick an 8 on?

Thanks!

I use a 560 with an 18" full chiz. standaed 7 pin . Tried an 8 pin which was ok on a 15" bar but when I used the 8pin on the 18" bar the auto tune got all confused . Since had it tuned by "petemate" so its well fast enough on the 7 pin.

If you do get one always use the decomp button to start it otherwise you will eventually clap out the pull start . Remember the ignition is always in the ON position . When you switch off it resets to on . I had trouible with mine in the early days . was sorted with an updated carb and a hotter spark plug all done under warranty . No problems since . I think it is a stonking saw . Best 60cc saw I have had .

Your lucky, I have had 3 brake bands and I have had 3 starter coil pulls, I use the de comp button every time:( it is a stinking saw when working but mine is just to unreliable. I have lost faith in the entire husky brand, I love my 346 and my 372, but I won't be buying anything else from them. The customer service has a lot to answer for;)

Hodge , man that is bad news . My customer service is top banana from my dealer ( D M chainsaws Walberton west Sussex ) and any thing over the top is sent to spud . ( I must confess I don't use the chain break , I am an old git and never been in the habit ) They don't make em like they did but tjhen they were less powerful and less chuckable back then . I guess there is a bit of a trade off .
