My mate's family seem to be adapting well. To be honest, his wife's got the telly to herself now, so I don't think she's that upset.

hello all, many thanks for the warm welcomes

yep, its going to be a complete career change, in the past (and at presant) i work on bikes as a technician. so not much experiance with tress before, but the outdoors is were i belong, so i figure i may as well try and get a job were i can be paid to be outdoors. i bought a book of tree id' the other day and had a lovely walk around the local park trying to sus out what tree was what.
