I have used a little Echo, thought it was brilliant, won't be buying one mind, i'll stick with the Stihl, however was great for light reductions, easy to use one handed, easy to pull around. Better than a Silky!!!!

Dont get the Makita get the Dolmar...............its the same...........only a much nicer colour........!!

I have a little Echo with a 10" bar very light and good for conifers and small reductions.

I use the 200t for take downs and bigger reductions.

I've got an echo, great little saw. So light , obviously not as powerful as a200t but for reductions and hedges great saw.

now its not cheap but i used one the other day and boy is it light and for its weight it goes pretty well, the bar and chain are much thinner so it leaves a really smart cut so it's great for pruning, the page is in german but it weighs 2 and a half kgs .

 

I think it just got released here in Germany about a month ago , not sure about anywhere else but i was impressed defiantly something to consider if you did a lot of medium sized pruning (If your willing to fork out)

ms 192t. use it more than the 200t on pruning jobs. Light and nice to handle. when climbing you dont know its there.

i've got the bigger echo 350 and is great saw had it for 2 years now and use it on every job, i think the one thing that lets echo down is the cost of spares ( £26 for plastic air filter!!!)

I don't have a problem with the weight of the 020, does using a lighter saw for much of the time mean that your arms becomes weaker, meaning that when you do use the 020 it appears heavier?

 

PS, I personally don't want to be going to the gym to keep my arms strong enough for the 020.
