if you buy on finance its an added stress of those payments every month imo :)

i bought second hand and the chipper is sound would never get finance if i could help it :)

I dont like finance but its worth it in my eyes u no exactly what your getting and couple hundred each month to pay for it only needs to go out once or twice a month to cover the finance when you look at it like that its nothing

Me..I hate any sort of finance, but it might be the way to go for a quiet life rather than fighting to fix a lemon after work, you might struggle to find a nice reliable machine at the money you are looking at,so keep an open mind,& try not to get rushed into something.

If you can avoid extra overheads then do, but sometimes it can be the best way to solve a problem and if its interest free then you are paying the same as if buying it out right.

Unfortunately that is not true, there is no such thing as interest free finance.

You just happen to pay for the interest on the total. If you see interest free finance it is a good bargaining tool if you are paying cash.

Assume you can get near on 10% discount on anything if you see interest free finance is available on the price.

yes but its not the only overhead so you need to earn that on top of mortgage/rent and other bills too.

If job goes quiet its another worry that i personally wouldnt recomend to anyone.

But thats just my opinion on finance :)
