If you were tasked with organising a climbing workshop, to improve people's basic skills, and demonstrate some of the newer products on the market what would you include and why ???

Rope (Mainline) positioning when limb walking, so you minimalise natural redirects or use natural redirects to your advantage. which is part of planning your limb walks properly. Thats what i found really useful information gained on rec climbs.

I would include access lines and srt systems! Simply because it's a more efficient method of crown access and in the event of an accident it enables quick access to the stricken climber.

I would offer a no thrills workshop with no abbrievations,(srt) and remembering lots of guys still just use prussiacs,,, some people are afraid to change for fear of being deemed old school, nowt wrong with it, and I`m sure lots would like updating there kit,, i`m learning from my new young climbers(with experience) all the time, spider jacks, single line,,,in the last three yrs the changes have been vast,,,
