Clearing bank with badger sett

Iam clearing a bank tomorrow of Hollie hazel and laurel and there's a active badger sett on the bank. Will the badger come out when we are working on the bank because of the noise will it piss them off.

What do you people think and any advice

Have you checked protocol regarding disturbing active sets, got a feeling it could be no no...?

Iam not going to be disturbing the set we are walking round it just worried they will get wound up and come out and bite people

seems the legistlation is pretty wishy washy anyway. ive never heard of a badger attacking anyone. pics if it happens!

see my last post, it contains the protection of badgers act 1992, which pretty much says your fine to go ahead.

Last year i did some work for British Waterways on a bank with a set in it. I needed written permission from natural England prior the work starting. Also had a visit to check i was working as agreed.
