I was having a pretty good day today, the job was going really well despite the torrential downpours then scaulding hot sun spells . My jacket was off and on and off and on again.... Newly fixed chipper was chipping like a brand new machine and I managed to leave all woodchip onsite yet take the wood away which was dead elm, all ready to go:thumbup1:. I even had time to log it up onsite and bring it home and straight into the woodburner.

One last stump to take down then pack up and off home for afternoon tea:thumbup1: Then this little number appeared in the middle of the last cut just enough to ruin the chain  what were the chances? Could i be bothered to sharpen the chain for it to happen again? no chance out came the axe and wedges to finish this b@$!£&d off!!

oh well back to the yard to do a spot of sharpening then!! almost a perfect day.:sneaky2:
