What's the best value for money and which works the best .flying capstan or fixed bollard. I like the look of the new stein rc2001 but don't no wether its worth spending the extra on the rc3001. I no they all have different swl but one that would do most jobs.

Either one would be ideal for most if not all jobs, depending how you work....

 

There is a 1000kg difference on SWL but your never gonna be anywhere near that as your rope will or should be your weakest link......and if you are lowering on the limit of either bollard...then you need your head testing....

 

My advice should be taken with a pinch of salt, if I had to make the choice given the small difference between the 2 the rc2001 for me....

The Rc3001 is a great bit of kit but it is heavy. If the Rc2001 is lighter i would think that would be a good one to go for. I have an RC2000 but its horrible to use.
