I think people are wondering exactly what you want.

 

6 inch x 10 inch ?, please explain a bit more. 2 feet deep we get.

 

a hole 6 inch x 10 inch by 2 feet deep would equate to maybe two rings, so a night burning. Most here could find you that.

 

Maybe you mean 6 feet x 10 feet x 2 feet deep, so about 120 cubic feet, that would be about 3.3 cubic meters.

Sorry i ment enough for a trailer 10 foot x 6 foot, 2 foot deep.

 

so if you say 3.5 cubic meters

The volume you are after makes it hardly worth while. At this time of year anyone with 'hardwood logs that just need splitting' will have them split up ready for sale as firewood.

 

I would suggest you have a look at other threads and pick up on members from your part of the world and ask them what if anything they have to sell you. Most will say firewood ready to burn only. You would be better asking this in March/ April for next winter.

were you looking to pay £300 or were you hoping it would be cheaper if you split it yourself. I only ask as I may be able to find someone if you give an idea of what you would expect to pay.
