Do you think you would struggle to cut a main line at 13mm if necessary?

One swipe on a tensioned rope is all that's needed surely.

 

Yeah true I suppose.

 

Only tried one out the other day so not really used one a lot.

op seems a bit slick.

 

has anyone tried Yale silver streak 10mm? a 4 wrap distal with 10mm OP works a treat, only at the testing stage....

What length of OP Adam?

 

2.5m of the top of my head mate....

Hard to say really, for the short length I find it no different to anything else mate,

 

Would it be possible to feel the difference at such a short length? I have some beal regate I will put it to the test on Monday....never really thought about it like that....:001_smile:

Adam, I was thinking for my use with my 10m lanyard that I use as a second rope.

 

 

With you now mate.... Then yes I think it would be to static for that purpose, I have noticed that it does get a lot stiffer as it gets used more, so on that note it should of answered my own previous question....:001_rolleyes:. ... Sorry mate must of sounded like an idiot then....:biggrin:
