as my old boss used to say 'paylandii'

it is the most horrible tree!! climbing up through it you get raped by dead spiky bits that rip your shirt and scratch your arms. it manages to come in through the top of your visor in a way that means you cant move for about five minutes untill you figure out what the hell is going on. but saying that it pays the bills!!

find it hard to judge how much work is in it untill ya get going.

You need to leave your pruning reduction head ( which is very very good)in the van and get your connie killing head on:biggrin:

Tip tie those long tall limbs, cut them off in oners , unclip and walk them right out the garden:laugh1:

Looks like good weather:thumbup1:

Good tip. . But in this case if only it was that easy! Drag was a mare! Cut them as big as we could get away with. Im sure they get bigger the more you cut off them! 2 loadsa chip, 2 loadsa wood. I didnt expect it.:001_huh:

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
