we have had the wettest season on record, monkies dont like it wet, and are prone to Armillarias in those waterlogged/very damp conditions, I dont say stuff just for the sake of it!

 

weald clay does not mean waterlogged, clay has massive absorption qualities, and when dry may take a very long time to become damp again if at all, often the surface cracks making the water pocket but not the same as boggy conditions, the native habitat is the clue!
