Best one we had was a chap who boasted about how much he had paid for his country house and about how rich he was, then in the same sentence he turned around and told us

 

"as you get older you realise life is not all about money, but in fact its all about your friends and family!"

 

Yeah thanks for that, after we just slaved away removing the very large chestnut and yew in the baking sun and having the price haggled down by £50!

I think it's BECAUSE of things like the car that this is the case....
