just want to say a big thank you to rob on here for fantastic back up service, my alaskan mill broke due to one of my guys being over enthusiastic with the tightening, of some nuts, ,,,,,,emailed rob from alaskan mill I home of the portable chainsaw mill and he imediately replaced the parts ,by first class post, which I truly appreciate, , due to this good service am now going to order my chainsaw bars and chains from him as a thankyou,,,

Get a plan in your mind of what you're going to do with the wood.

 

 

I have to say one of the best sellers I've got into is chopping boards. You'll need:

 

 

• someone with a good size planer/thicknesser
  
• dry planks
  
• a good sanding tool with grits from 80g to 400g
  
• walnut oil to finish
  

 

 

I'm aiming to do more vids through Nov hopefully showing more about how to turn those planks into cash!
