There is a 1x37 on fleabay now, I have one and it's great:)

Don't know if we can put links on here... If it's the one I can see it's pto driven (I think, although he doesn't say) and not towable

the cost of getting it the 600 or so miles from Suffolk to me...

 

Where are you based yewbaws ? I sold my little processor to a guy in Durham a few weeks ago, it's a fair way from Suffolk! I strapped it to a pallet cost him sixty quid inc vat.

 

He's a member on here. Good old Arbtalk :thumbup:

Highlands of Scotland (outer space so far as some couriers are concerned). I suppose the problem with a towable processor is that it won't easily go into a lorry as a part load...

Perhaps local groups could be set up sharing machinery and costs. I have had an overture along those lines recently.

need a few more people round here with log boilers - they're all going for woodchip or pellet now...

Chip boilers are not really viable for normal private houses unless heating several, just to big and handling the fuel is difficult in small volumes. Pellets are far more viable against oil as they can be set up with bulk fill systems.
