The Echo/Tanaka saws are not badly built, are lighter than the Stihl Husky alternatives, will go through the lighter stuff OK but just lack the balls in the power front on the Stihl MS200T as this saw is the daddy on the power side of things.

 

In short, light, reasonably built and OK for light 4-6" cutting.

iv got 2 of them 200t crap i chunked both out the tree today and ended up taking a ported 357 with me much happier with the husq

solo mate all the way never let me down :thumbup:

Did you ever get it ported then ? Mines still running ace ported way faster than the standard stihl :001_smile:

solo 637 always started always run never had problems

200ts are great when they are running the best saw u can buy just let of a bit of steam as i was wound up with them

i have a 26cc echo top handle with a 10" bar and full chisel chain and i love it:thumbup:

 

bought it this year brand new £300
