Gonna miss you mate. Don't worry tho, Chris and I will carry on the tradition of Magners / Prawns in France and will always raise our 'bottles' too you.

 

Did your truck go on ebay?

yeh with your shoes i had to clean mine with a toothbrush to get them really clean,

always sad to leave family and friends but when u get here u forget all about it,

if your ever in chch will have to catch up for a beer,(adam lives here to)

gonna be in auckland for a wee while then not too sure maybe hawkes bay,the mount or id like to head down to ch ch.not bringin boots with me as it too hot out their for our boots.will give my kit a good going over before i leave.spoke to gump last night he thinks it will be fine.fingers crossed i suppose through customs and yes that beer you mention is a definate yes.

I think as others have said clean your gear really well.chainsaws i think if they are clean and you have cleaned all the fuel and oil out properly they are fine.good luck over there.if you want an instant job when you go to auckland ring treescape or even check there website.they are always keen for more tree surgeons.Icould give you a emaill address of my old manager hes a hardcase scotsman and would sort ya out with work.

Hey ross, i brought 2 020s over a while ago. removed the spark plugs, took everything apart and cleaned like hell. then gave a good going over with spray to make it as clean as possible.then vacuum packed to prevent any later contamination. customs were happy that id done enough to sterilise it and made it impossible to be used in flight. Seeds in peoples socks is a big one here now (and oz) so make sure there real clean( or just buy new). and thoroughly clean ya harness and gear bag too. see ya soon bro...........
