Although i have been lurking for four years, this is my first post.

I have always found the answers ive needed through the threads, having never needed to ask. And if it weren't for u lot id still be be on one rope and two prussiks.

Now at the risk of sounding like an ARB stalker ive seen this forum through from HC progression right through to SRT climbing, that includes, bolams wicked replies, through to Hamas self esteem issues (your reductions looks alright, but put down the mushroom and go get laid FFS)

Anyways , when chogging down a stem, using the SJ, how do u guys switch from ddrt to srt?

I'd be on a RW to start with. Anyway, I'd choke the top of my long line around the stem with the RW under the choke point.

Yes the RW means I'd be a long way from the stem but my flip line holds me in the right place. The long line is only there to catch you if you cut the flip line. And to escape in an emergency (like a cup of tea).

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
