I reckon you're right - especially if you had previously wound the line on tightly.

I would probably end up pulling the line out into a loose heap and then firing off the shot bag - thus defeating part of the item's purpose. :confused1:

That's development for you, we used to make those out of the plastic reels that MIG wire comes on, any welders shop will have plenty of them you can scrounge and make your own.

me too treequip!...I've always found coiling up throwline is a waste of time...it just develops a memory and tangles up as soon as you look at it. In a bag is the way, and take it all out and stretch it before use...sorted
