Had the Chipper assesment yesterday.Did a little read through of the questions in the morning but my memory aint as good as it used to be.luckily this is about the third chipper ticket i,ve done and it,s all very familiar...anyway i managed to answer all the questions and i do enjoy the process.i have to say at this point how different the training was for this unit and the previous stumpgrinder ticket(Both with the same Arb training company).the day,s training is informal enough but in depth enough to cover all the bases..Coffee breaks when you need them and we even met up on the evening for a pint:thumbup1: Martin Spooner (Spooney) on here is a legend. I like people who clearly have a passion for this industry and an Energy about them and he is this...he delivers the notes very well and answers any questions completely...out on site he ran through the technical side of the chipper without missing a bolt or grease nipple:lol: i was very impressed and we are to be using them for any furthur training that we may require...The company director Ian looks after the assesment itself and he is just as proffessional..you can have a laugh with him in the pub but as soon as your test begins he is as very knowledgable bloke and serious about picking your brains for the complete answer...in a Nutshell,a cracking Arb training/Assesment company and i would HIGHLY recommend them:001_smile:

Ahh..Mr Behnn,i was wondering when someone would enquire...when the top was on,he was attatched to the left hand limb as you look at the picture. He put in a back-cut and came down to the ground..the truck then pulled it over. (i watched from a great distance) i did suggest anchoring into the tree next to it and dismantle it..but no one was interested.
