It certainly wasn't going to rain on my parade today.Ozzy told me he,d never been on a train before so we decided to hop on for one stop to our nearest neighbour.I used to visit here most weekend when I was a kid.It seemed so far away and looked so big as we crossed the Tyne.It felt like we were a long way from home in a very big city.It actually takes less than 15 minutes on the train. The streets were empty when we got there but my Grandson thoroughly enjoyed the short journey. We went as far as the Bigg Market which was where I spent most weekends during the 80,s turned back and returned home. The trains are certainly a far cry from the smokey ones I remember.

Of all the kit I have either replaced or renewed there I one item that stands out for me and that is of course this.Nothing comes close for me.The combination of Safe and Modern climbing methods and to manipulate branches with a Silky gives me the most pleasure. And anew blade feels as good as a new pair of socks in my opinion?

So back to You Tube.I need an SRT fix! While I wait for the garage to call and I can load up.I,ve found some very Knowledgeable folk on there but I really enjoy watching JB when I first wake in the mornings or Buckin Billy.Gentle kind of Tree related stuff.Ease my mind into the week.Have a safe and productive one Arbtalkers[emoji106]20200217_041143.jpeg
