In Desperate times...My Silky saves the day!

Hope everyone in Arbtalkland is stepping up a gear as the Sun draws nearer. i have a very good feeling about this year.

I have a lot of FORST freebies but not the black sunnies...until i was one of the winners in their photo competitiin and some arrived in the post last week.

After six months of going to the Gym i can say the results have been far better than i hoped for I've lost weight,body fat and gained a lot of muscle but i have kept away from one area The tummy.Sit-ups to be precise.I am now pleased to say that i have got my head around this tough excercise.It hurts but i am sure it will become second nature in a week or so.

I used to be able to see the pie shop from this window but last week it closed down (it's a sign!) But i can see the Travel shop still.Going to have my first holiday abroad this year since 2000.

Well,i made it through another weekend.My favourite session has always been with my Son and so Friday night was the biggest test for me.To watch him enjoying Spicey Thai food whilst supping Ice cold Beer didn't tempt me once so i am very pleased with myself.Got my own back on him when i bought him a Pink strawberry dakkari for last orders.

I actually prefer being Sober around people who are drinking.Tis empowering.And it doesn't stop you from meeting women!

But the best thing is,i feel complete Freedom...i wake up like today clear headed..able to hit the Gym early in the morning and enjoy the peace of the river.Next test will be the Arbshow.Can't wait.Enjoy the rest of the weekend Arbtalkers.
