Whenever i get any hardware i spend the first 24 hours of it's life studying it's design...functionality...normally on a nice block of wood like my Elm table. If i wasn't a Tree Surgeon i would have probably liked to have been an Artist or designer as that was my best subject at school and what i found most natural and easiest to do.It just means that i am obsessed with the way things look and work....i shall probably wear this on my belt today and hang my house keys on it.Sad but true.😆😆😆

It is stunning Darrin..i have posted it before. It was an emergency call out tree that had split out in a very plain park in Hounslow London...i cut this slice and carried it several miles on my bicycle.(Extremely heavy).A year or so later Clive (Delabodge on Arbtalk) put it through his planer then finnished it with many grades of sand/glass paper....then coated it in lemon oil.....its a lap table....the noise when you put a wine glass on it is exquisite! It feels like a cross between bone china and Silk....but is so heavy and tough.

Well that's the Unimog back after night shift spraying for the last couple of weeks. The Boss and Senior Chargehand have for the second year delivered over one million square linear metres of weed killer and grass growth inhibiter.
