Andy, you know full well climbing is a last resort for me and I only ever do it when there is a genuine risk of breaking things that can't be moved or fixed easily.

 

Back on track, from across the road, these babies look like Stretch Airs, and a recent thread highlighted that HSE grasses are alive and well, and it's been hot recently....

I would swiftly don my type C's, Airstreams, chainsaw jacket, forearm sleeves and chainsaw gloves if I had to cut a nog off something before chipping.

 

Hell, I might even slap a johnny on for good measure.

Thanks DesertRat, dug me out of Carl and Peter's HSE grass hotline nightmare there!

 

Unnecessary as it happens. I clearly stated 'whilst chipping', so I would obviously have been wearing helmet/muffs/visor already, although not necessarily full PPE.

 

You will have to be sharper than that to catch Bolam even after 2 beers, a G&T and a bottle of Rose, HSE grasses!
