In regards to sponsorship be careful as situations at companies can change i was sponsored by one company in Melbourne and i left without alot of time to get sponsored by my current employer work does vary its not all big stuff there are times when your pruning small trees also.

At the company I work for in Melbourne there is just a greater range of work than I was getting back home. As Ewan said, plenty of normal and small jobs like the UK but the big stuff is just a lot bigger. Obviously working for a council/company makes quite a difference too. There are certainly more opportunities to push yourself here.

Sounds awesome, just need to push hard and learn as much as possible tree wise in the next 5 years, Hopefully I can learn about visas and sponsorships now rather than getting to a stage where I am ready to go over and not have a clue :) Strange question, is everyone far more easy going than people in england, because when I go out there i will know no one :)

Yeah i have been told that which has put me off slightly, what are the other big companies in oz ?

 

Dont know about sponsership but big companys not always best..and theres plenty of work there so dont worry about not getting a job..
