although if you go to army surplus, they'll always nock a few quid off/do a deal for alot less. (i got a kit bag for climbing gear and few other bits at same time)

 

both of mine came in at well under £100

I'm ex Forces my self and the standard issue bag is very warm indeed however its very heavy and dosn't pack down very small.

I would go to an out door specalist i.e http://www.cotswoldoutdoor.com

All i can say is buy cheep buy twice, and its easier to cool down than walm up

flatemate has one he swears by it Alpkit Hunka

 

alpkit doa lot of good stuff, i can swear by their tent pegs, bed rolls, i've been told their bags are good and i've heard good things about their waterproof jeans
