That's true.

 

However, in some circumstances the bigger grinder can be counter productive, as it tends to spread stuff far and wide.

 

Get the stumps done quicker but makes clearing up a longer job.

 

Not a problem on a site clearance, but a load of big stumps in a garden ......

High prices; that might be peeps rate but how much work have they got?

 

Couldn't agree more DRS, high figures down here are dreamland numbers trying to honour the value of the industry. You can get a very experienced 2 man felling / winching day for less than some of these silver-lined prices boasted around.

 

we was flat out when i worked there.. some weeks even had to run a second gang purly stump grinding.. in which case the priced is reduced slightly.

most of it was done with a small rayco rg25hd. we had a contact with a larger rayco machine for the bigger jobs.
