The camera body is the most important component, spend as much as you can, you can always buy the other stuff later....

 

Jessops will price match so you should be able to screw a good deal out of them. :001_smile:

My wife bought one of these a while ago... frighteningly good for the price! It can even make my lame attempts loom semi-professional! Really easy to use but enough features to keep you busy for a while, we did upgrade to a bigger lens for distance work but the standard is ace

Well that’s gone on its head since the days of my FM2 when the body was a lightproof box and the lens was everything.

Well I am going to give some poor schmuck in Jessops a headache tomorrow

What ever you buy if you get a Nicon you wont go wrong. I took this the first week I bought mine, and its still one of my best. Remember its the eye behind the camera thats just as important!
