All this fuss over a waste carrier licence which is free for the lower risk and only £154 for the high risk. Just apply and then at least you're covered. Surely better to be safe than sorry... My advice is don't ever get on the wrong side of any Goverment Agency no matter who they are....

Do you need one per vehicle?

 

Very quickly (sorry) = one per business...if you need it. WCL are changing and will become a 'lower tier' registration, i.e. not a licence and no fee, for most tree surgeons from 2014.

This is just a total piss take, another tax for woodchip which by definition is not waste, neither are logs ?.

 

The arguement its only so much is pefetic !.

 

Its yet another cost along with loler which offers nothing to me or my customers but an increase in running costs. So its more money i have to earn that gets stolen by jobs worths in corporate run england.

 

Technically i transport humans in my truck and they contain **** so i guess that will be classed as hazardous waste
