I'm not looking for someone to clear my back garden as was suggested - i will be getting rid of the unusable bits of the tree myself

There is access around the side of the house to get to the back however, i think it will still need to be cut into smaller chunks to get it out.

If it's not worth anything then thats fair enough, just thought i'd try my luck.

I have half a dozen people who have contected me already willing to come chop it and take it away.

Thanks to all for your replies - noted and advice taken on baord. :thumbup1:

Just a little pointer for you that happens very regularly, if you end up letting these folk come and collect who seem keen to just take it away, make sure they start with the large/more difficult to move bits!

Otherwise you could end up in the situation where all the "easy" bits have gone and you need to pay someone to take the rest!:sneaky2:

If you were close enough i'd pick it up for free, but I wouldn't be paying for it and wouldn't be chipping any brash! And if I couldn't get the skidsteer in the garden i'd be long gone! Sounds lazy I know, but I don't sell firewood, so it'd only be for my use and I'd rather cut a dead tree down that I could get machines to than hump logs by hand.........
