Thanks David, these are from old prints I've been finding and scanning. I was working in the Alpuharas near Orgiva about 1 hour south of Granada. So thats the Sierra Nevada ranges in the pic. I was pleased to find that first one as I didn't know I had it till recently.

 

Were you in Galicia or thereabouts? Very green and well watered in the north and all olives and eucs in the dry south.

Not up a tree but this was a cool little woodland in the Pyrenees in France some years ago.
