fire proof only any good in big stoves with other stuff

or put where folk may steal it

or people you dont particulary like

we usually give everyone a bit rather than a lot to anyone

i think horse chestnut needs time to season and spits alot but thats what ive read, i havent burnt any myself. theres alot of deseased chestnuts around so alot of people are going to be burning it.

thats what im thinking bill, ive always avoided it in the past but im getting more and more of it now and premium hardwood is getting increasingly hard to come across

Been clearing a development site over the last couple of days, and there was loads of chestnut palings fencing in the brambles, burns like :008:. Couldnt say if it spat sparks everywhere, cos I didnt hang around.
