I just did my first proper timed time trial. 40Km (olympic triathlon cycle distance) in 1.hr 20mins.

 

Not too bad for a first go, inlcuded a big hill climb aswell, but of course I came down the hill too so it all evens out. NOt sure what position that put me with the other riders (about 20+ of us) but will find out later I'm sure.

13th out of 23. Fastest time was 59mins on a proper super expensive TT bike, with drinks container in the frame. Yes, there was a stopper on the top tube and you fill it with water and drink it of a straw on the handlebars.

Never seen ought like that before down this way like!
