Wouldn't mind going for metallica, prodigy (although they are on their last legs surely? saw them in 2006 and they lost a bit of magic) & tenacious d (for the lols).

But i refuse to go to any big commercial festival for a whole weekend (pepsi max stage? no thanks!!) i bought a day ticket to reading a few year ago to watch rage against the machine and it was pretty bad (the festival, not rage)

have fun though :D

It's one of those things I want to do but never seem to manage it due to either lack of funds at the time or get let down by mates.

I did see Metallica in 1995 at Donnington, back when it was monsters of rock :thumbup1:

My groundy/brother is down there already. He set off at 5 this morning to get a good camping pitch. Oh to be young and have spare time. I'd love to see tenacious D.

-.- Sore subject lol!!

Was meant to be going but CS38/39 seemed a more sensible long term option.

Would have gone purely on the fact Lamb Of God will be there .... my favourite metal band of all time!!!

I saw Metallica at Wembley on their 2007 "Sick of the studio" tour supported by Mastodon, Machine Head ............... and Him of all bands lmao they just got bottled and abused all set haha. What an amazing gig though it was so good! The pits for MH were absolutely brutal haha.

Best gig I've ever been to! Closely followed by when Black Dyke won the national brass band championship in 2004 at the royal albert hall ..... but thats a slightly different end of my music taste spectrum lol.

I went!

Weather was awful for the first few days, but i expected that! In fact i think every one expected that exept for the download organisers! It really does anoy me that I paid ALOT of money to go to the festival only to find that its so badly organised!

I really enjoyed NOFX, Prodigy and Metallica but it was Black Sabbath that really blew me away! They were amazing! Probably the best gig I've ever seen!
