I've an OH 60, hows yours driven and how close is the dealer you got it from? I had similar trouble if I used my little tractor on the 1000 pto at low revs, not enough grunt. What state are the teeth in? just had mine re-tipped and makes a big difference.

The tractor should have enough poke, it sounds like teeth. I'm assuming that you're not hearing any screeching from the belts until the blade stops and that its been fixed to the shaft securely. give it a sharpen and don't let the big pieces lean on the blade too heavily - I get mine to slow right down if I rush bigger Oak pieces.:001_smile:

Check fuel filters on tractor and make sure the pto clutch pack is not slipping. If the belts arent slipping cant be much else. Does the tractor smoke under load. Are you running small tractor on 1000 pto at low revs.
