I have a Facebook account but it's mainly family, the rest on mine are close friends from past that live too far away to see all the time or live in another country.

I have no time for crap on Facebook. It's down to the user on social network who they have on there and who they don't, the kids have Facebook and the amount of times they have said " I don't know this person but I'm friends with them to find out who they are" this worries me and they get rid of them.

This site is expertly controlled and anything seen as unsuitable is soon got shot of. Been said before but to Steve and Andy and other mods or even sponsers, I applaud your work and well done.

Agreed, well done.

Im no fan of smart arsed comment, sometimes a silly situation can result in a daft question.

I don't do many forums at all, but I was fairly disgusted by some of the pornographic comments, links, etc posted on a car forum! I'm no prude, but I cannot see the point of that in an open forum which can be viewed by all. Well done to the Moderators for keeping that lid on....and well done to the majority of members for abiding by the rules and keeping it sensible.

I don't do the Facebook thing or twitter etc for that reason too. I'm not interested that "so and so" is walking his dog at dinner time or what "this persons" toilet habits are, or how drunk "This twit" got on saturday night! Am I odd or just too sensible?

I absolutely concur with that Pete ....:001_smile:
