Tobe honest if you fall from that high I don't think a helmet will do much, but I agree It is good practice to wear one even when Rec climbing.

 

to be honest its the lads under the tree (or below you in the tree) that would be better wearing a helmet as you or anything you dislodge will not be hitting your head but their's...:001_huh:

 

if your planning some tarzan time a helmet is always usefull for those side impact moments ....:tongue_smilie::tongue_smilie:

No helmets?

 

to be honest i wear a helmet every day at work or when climbing, i know its good practice and things like that but thought day off and make it abit more relaxing and away from work but your comments are very true with things like deadwood and things falling on people out of the tree.
