Standing on one side of the drop zone, Nathan on the other. Everything bar one bit required some sort of rigging and 70% of the crown was over a glass roofed building.

I've got Nathan to thank for encouraging me into srt. Really enjoyed a rec climb with him before he left, and he came across as talented and passionate about what he does. Shame people feel the need to discredit others publicly.

51 years old, been to Thailand, Mauritius, Cuba, and other places, I just can't handle long haul flights any more.

If I was 20 years younger I'd be off.

Crikey, you don't sound like a bloke who climbs up trees with a chainsaw, surprised you aren't already in a care home, no point leaving it till the last minute

Just to clear everything up there is no need to say anything to anyone I came to the company that bill works for at nearing the beginning of my climbing career and yes I knew well not a lot to be honest and Bill having over 10 years experience took me under his wing to teach me, which was absolutely fantastic. Yes quite a lot of the photos are not of me and may be of work we were all involved in but I do not say otherwise maybe I should or change the name of my thread I started this when I first got into tree work to help me improve. Both bill and Shane invested time and money into me to train and mold me into something better I think in the long run it has in some ways and I can't thank them enough. I got to a point in my life where I decided I wanted to travel after many problems over the years at home my first intentions were to step away from tree work for a year or two and that still is I'm currently working in Australia on to gain a second year working visa then I'm going to be travelling and no work I didn't fancy fruit picking you see. As for this I can see the fustration of bill having given up over 2 and a half years to do so. As for Ian thank you I came to work for Ian for a week of my time to volunteer as I needed to sign off some of my queens scout award. Thanks everyone. I will continue to post my travels once they start in the next month and I may ask the mod if the thread name. Can be altered

Nathan is here in Adelaide and whilst not working with me I know his Boss and the company he works for plus some of the workers at the company.

He is being expected to do production work and on some decent size trees.

I have not heard anything negative about him or his work over here.

Ben.

Over the Easter I had the opportunity to go to Brisbane and see some friends we climbed some large gums 50 odd meters in a national park and also had a good mess around in a smaller red gum. We also chilled in the city where he lives. ImageUploadedByArbtalk1428708323.045147.jpg.524c45af2f4ad0194833c11f61a11f93.jpg
