i thought i would show some pictures of work that i have done. at the moment im out of work so working part time doing grounds maintanence so all the photos are not that recent but the ones of a garden are of a private job i have been doing since i was sixteen after working there doing some tree work for the customer and eneded up being roped into working there im still there now but its a change and at the end of the day it pays the bills. enjoy

wind damaged cedar back from the high winds at the start of the yea a very lucky escape. last pictures show what it was like 6 months prior when we deadwooded the cedars

tbh im really not sure as this was done before I started this job it is being eaten by something and had alot of major deadwood as ive been told but has been left as a monolith as its at the bottom of the garden and no major targets. the trunk is massive, the squirrels and wood peckers have just started to use it as a large ash tree just down the road was taken down and they seem to have migrated to using this now.

cheers david reading of some of the other thread you know alot on fungi and preservation. the oak has a saw dust like residue coming out of between the bark and the bark is now also starting to flake, what could this possibly be ??

 

 

I will have to find another picture form that garden of a large oak stump rotten in the middle with a brilliant oak sapling now growing.
